Synopsis:
One
morning, Kirigaya Kazuto was abruptly woken up by his cousin and adoptive
sister, Kirigaya Suguha, who reminded him that they had planned to go shopping
that day. Although Kazuto could not remember having made such a plan, seeing
how Suguha was disheartened by how he could not remember his promise, Kazuto
claimed that he had still been partially asleep, but now remembered it. After
Suguha went downstairs to wait for him to get ready, Kazuto called out Yui to
enquire about his schedule. Yui informed him that his schedule included
shopping with Suguha, an appointment with Shinozaki Rika (Lisbeth) and Ayano
Keiko (Silica) in Akihabara, as well as a meeting with Asada Shino (Sinon) in
Ikebukuro. Yui also informed him that she was the one who accepted the
invitations in his name. When Kazuto told Yui that she should have asked for
his consent before accepting the invitations, Yui suddenly claimed that she did
not care about him and disappeared. Not being able to contact Yui anymore,
Kazuto decided that he had no choice but to follow the schedule Yui had set for
him, and thus he went downstairs to go shopping with Suguha.

Synopsis:
On February
8, 2026, while cooking jam in the her home in ALfheim Online, Asuna accidentally
added pineapples grenades into the mix, causing the jam to explode and cover
the kitchen in colourful gel. Discovering that it would take over half an hour
for the gel's durability to decrease to zero and not wanting to clean up the
mess, Asuna proposed for the trio to go adventuring. Just as Kirito was about
to check the quest page, Yuuki revealed that she from Talken about a hidden
boss as strong as the bosses on the 20th Floor of New Aincrad being discovered
on the 5th Floor. She also revealed that the boss was supposed to drop a rare
item known as a «Guild Flag» that could be used to buff guild members.

Synopsis:
Okano Kouji
and Fujita Shin who were part-time freelance object makers until one day they
received a massive order from a mid-scale VRMMO game for pretty female models.
As the order was too large for them to handle while also having part-time jobs,
the two decided to quit their jobs to become full time object makers and use
invest the advance payment into a new office and a professional machine for
their job.
However,
when Fujita Shin went to the bank and withdrew the money from an ATM, he was
tricked by an old man who snatched all of the money that Shin withdrew. While
they were wondering what to do, Kouji remembered that he had seen an in-game
terminal in a VRMMO game, called LUNASCAPE, that was linked to an actual
computer that had the «Solid Organizer» program installed.

Synopsis:
Three
months after the start of SAO, Yuuki spent his days in Serene Garden, hospice
virtual reality general hospital Kouhoku Yokohama, as the tester prototype
number 2 Medicuboid with his sister Aiko, whose name in the virtual reality
Ran. They hunted insects to sell in order to build a good place to live. But
one day, Yuuki sighted a rare and elusive insect which captures with great
agility. Suddenly, a player is about the same insect, encountering the sisters.
This girl, who is presented as Merida is a girl insect collector and has a
certain fondness for insect caught Yuuki. Yuuki gives the beetle after much
thought, starting a new friendship between the three. Time after they met,
Merida suggests to enter another virtual world, Asuka Empire, which is a free
VRMMO with Japanese features because of the roles that grants, samurái for
example. Yuuki and Ran manage to become miko samurai and with the help of the
experienced Merida, whose class is a ninja.

Synopsis:
A week
after the encounter with Silver Crow during a test with the Soul Translator
(STL), and several days after encountering Shiba Tatsuya in ALfheim Online,
Kirigaya Kazuto (Kirito) was having breakfast with Kirigaya Suguha, when she
asked him to explain what a quantum computer was. Although Kazuto was hesitant,
once Suguha apologised for her question by saying that there were things that
Kazuto did not know either, Kazuto agreed to give her a rough explanation.

Synopsis:
The
siblings Shiba Tatsuya and Miyuki had just recently returned from the Nine
Schools Competition in 2096. Soon after returning home, the siblings fell
asleep to rest. But when they woke up, they found themselves in front of a
detached mansion in a virtual world created by a Relic called the Dream Caster.
After discovering that some sort of electronic technology was interfering with
the Dream Caster and that they had limited access to magic, the siblings
decided to investigate the mansion, as they deduced that they would need to
fulfil some sort of condition to be able to return to the real world.

It is now
some time after the events of Volume 15 and Underworld has entered a state of
peace. The people of the Human Empire, the people of the Dark Territory, the
Goblins, Orcs, Ogres, and Giants have all signed a peace treaty and the Dark
Territory and the Human Empire have opened up for trade. After the War of the
East Gate and Rebellion of the Four Empires, the four Imperial Noble Families,
who had been oppressing the common people, had finally been overthrown. The
Underworld Fundamental Law has been introduced and the Taboo Index has been
revised. In a few years, the Integrity Knights will become the largest fighting
force in all of Underworld. Among them will be Ronye and Tieze (and their
dragons, Tsukigake and Shimosaki), who are currently Integrity Knight
Apprentices.

Synopsis:
At the end
of the «Deep Sea Plunderers» quest the seven member party of Agil, Asuna,
Klein, Kirito, Leafa, Lisbeth and Silica, along with Yui and Pina were brought
back to Alfheim by a whale. After being dropped off at a beach in Sylph
territory, the group pondered about the quest. As there was no way to look up
the dialogue lines of NPCs in the game, Yui repeated the conversation between
Kraken and Leviathan, and then Leafa explained that the Æsir were a family of
gods in Norse mythology, but no one understood what the «Prince» was. While the
group talked about the overwhelming power of the gods, Kirito got lost in
thought about how Kraken and Leviathan seemed as if they had their own
volition, comparing them to an NPC that he had met on the 3rd Floor, Kizmel.

Synopsis:
In Sword
Art Online, Asuna had two hobbies that had no direct benefit to clearing the
death game: the first was «cooking» and the second was «baths». Although Asuna
had a bathroom with a small bath in her home in Selmburg, she also had an
exhaustive list of sleeping quarters that included large bath-houses on every
floor - for times when she felt the desire for a bigger bath. However, the
latest bath that she found out about from Argo was not only outside the Area,
but it was also an open-air bath, meaning that both monsters and Orange Players
could attack them at any time. Although weapons could be placed right beside
the bathtub, equipping armour for protection would require manipulating various
windows.

Synopsis:
On Friday,
10th April, 2025, after Kirigaya Kazuto hung up his new school uniform, he
heard a loud shout from his sister, Suguha, calling him to come down to the
garden. When he got down, Kazuto noticed a large object, covered in a bed
sheet, next to his sister. Suguha then tore off the sheet, revealing a Bianchi
road bicycle. After Kazuto's onslaught of questions, Suguha revealed that she
bought the bike with a huge discount from Rinrindou, a bicycle shop that the
two had frequented since kindergarten. While examining the bike, Kazuto noticed
that the bike was too big for his sister, who then replied that the bike was a
gift for him to celebrate his enrollment.

Synopsis:
Kirito
awakes in a bed in Underworld and soon realizes that he's surrounded by Alice,
Asuna, Leafa, Silica, Lisbeth, Sinon and Yui. After they wake up, they start
talking and Kirito asks for answers about what's happening. In the conversation
they reveal their uncertainty about the future, as Asuna and Lisbeth are about
to graduate, and chances for meetings may become rare.

Synopsis:
Kirito had
just proposed to Asuna the previous day, and she accepted the proposal. Kirito
tried to figure out what marriage meant for him now as SAO is an MMO game,

a house Kirito had found when the front lines were there, but when they
arrived, they found that the house had disappeared.

Synopsis:
On June 21,
2025, Kirito and Asuna were doing homework together inside an Inn in Yggdrasil
City. They started talking about a problem Asuna was having: sometimes she felt
that she was separated from her avatar and lost control for a moment. After
discussing the different possibilities, they decided to ask Yui for help. When
she logged out, Asuna saw a scene outside her window, which brought back
memories that were not hers.

Synopsis:
Kazuto (Kirito)
was on a part-time job to test out the 4th generation FullDive machine created
by Rath. He was told that other users had seen a ghost and so he was there to
check if it was true.
During the dive
he saw a robotic figure. He instinctively grabbed the sword hung on his back,
only to discover that he was his avatar from Sword Art Online, Kirito the Black
Swordsman. He looked up and saw a timer, health bar, stamina gauge on both
sides of his vision, his login ID "KIRITO" on the left side and his
opponent's ID, SILVER CROW, on the right.

Synopsis:
The quest to
retrieve «Excalibur» from the base of Jötunheimr was revealed to the public.
However, unlike how Kazuto (Kirito) and Suguha (Leafa) expected, it was not a
quest to clear the Inverted Ice Pyramid, but another quest to slaughter all
beast-type Evil Gods and the sword had yet to be obtained. After Kazuto and
Suguha called Asuna, Shino (Sinon), Ryoutarou (Klein) Keiko (Silica) and Rika
(Lisbeth) to form a party of seven to attempt raiding the ice pyramid again,
they gathered at Lisbeth's shop in Yggdrasil City to prepare and then came to
Jötunheimr via a secret passage that Kirito and Leafa had found nearly a year
before.

Synopsis:
On November 7,
2024, at 14:55 (2:55 PM) Silica was in her home in the city of Floria on the
47th Floor. She was relaxing with Pina as she drank, when Pina began to act
strangely. Silica believed that Pina wanted more food, when all of a sudden, an
alarm rung out throughout the world. A System Announcement declared that world
has entered "Forced Administration Mode", and that the game has been
cleared. Silica was confused, knowing that the front lines should only be at
the 75th Floor, and wondered if she could really log out.

Synopsis:
After the 73rd
Floor is cleared, Silica invites Kirito to the «Weathercock Pavilion» inn in
the town of Mishe on the 35th Floor to celebrate his victory. While they're
tasting Silica's favourite nut tart, Pina shows interest in Kirito's slice of
tart, even though familiars should only be interested in food if their owner
personally feeds them. Kirito allows the dragon to eat a slice of the tart and
before Silica can put her dragon down on the floor, Pina nimbly dodges Silica
and, after flying a small lap, lands on Kirito's head, where she assumes a
sleeping position and falls fast asleep.

Synopsis:
After three
months of Kirito using the «Dark Repulser», Lisbeth realized that the sword
will eventually become less useful. As Kirito got to higher dungeons, he would
be able to find a better sword from a rare drop. Plus, «Dark Repulser» had
already used forty-two of its fifty reinforcements, and was currently +39. That
would mean that there were only eight more chances for reinforcement, and
Kirito had asked her to get the blade to +40 today.

waiting for a monster to fall into their trap when one of them, a woman dressed
in black named Pitohui, asked the other, a short girl dressed entirely in pink
named LLENN, if she had heard about a tournament called Squad Jam. However,
LLENN mistook the word "squad" for "squid" and began
talking about food, initiating a conversation about various topics.

The story continues inmediately after the events of 16.8, Kirito and
Asuna still living together in the house floor 22, Kirito makes remember to Asuna that everything her see in Aincrad is fiction but the feelings he
feels for her is totally real. After a short conversation they decide go to shopping
to town Floor 22 (Coral), Asuna was excited about buying furniture for the
house where they lived, but when Kirito sees high prices suggests purchase
cheap furniture.

Synopsis:
The story
continues immediately after the events of 16.7 with Kirito thinking about the
accuracy of the five senses in Aincrad, before entering the bath where Asuna
was waiting. Asuna had acquired a rare herb earlier that, along with giving a
3-hour poison immunity buff, made the bath feel like a hot spring. They then
discussed how their bath felt much more realistic than any other bath they had
taken in Aincrad. Deep in thought, after multiple theories had been debunked by
Asuna, Kirito stretched his legs, accidentally brushing something soft, which
he later finds out was Asuna's leg. Intrigued, Kirito continued rubbing it with
his feet and eventually reached for it with his right hand.

The doujin
began with Asuna listening to Kirito's heartbeat as continued from the end of
the previous work, 16.6. Kirito had a number of thoughts about heartbeats and

after some interactions, they hugged each other and Kirito did the things that

way to the least used option in SAO. «Marriage». Without hesitating, he pressed

had already proposed the previous night, to which Asuna said yes, and today
they were on the 22nd Floor of Aincrad in front of a log house, after
completing a battle quest they were dragged into only minutes ago. When Asuna
selected her option, Kirito did not even need to read the notification, as he
knew what answer Asuna selected. When it was done, the two, clad in their regular
battle attire, hugged as their hearts overlapped, and slowly came into sync.

Synopsis:
Kirito and
Asuna finally make their way to the 3rd Floor after clearing the 2nd Floor
boss. Kirito explains to Asuna about the new monsters that will appear and how
Kayaba Akihiko considered SAO a "Concerto of life and death". While
talking, they arrive at the door leading to the new floor, however Kirito
doesn't notice it and hits his head on the door, missteps and loses his balance,
falling in the new unlocked floor. While Kirito mourns on the floor, Asuna
enters and admires the scenery, Kirito interrupts her and allows her to decide
to continue in a party or to disband it.

Synopsis:
Four days after
the 2nd Floor of Aincrad is unlocked, Kirito disguises himself to collect items
for training, since his fame as a beater has now spread. He finds a scene in
which someone complains to a blacksmith because the latter has failed to
upgrade his Anneal Blade four times and now the sword is deemed useless. While
watching the scene, he begins thinking about the probabilities of such an event
happening.

would be in serious trouble because information that he is a Beater had spread

to the outskirts of the city. Immediately he chases them until they stop and
Kirito recognizes that the two men were Beta Testers Fumaningun guild. These
were behind Argo for information on a given extra skill that could be acquired
on the second floor but she would not sell it, so they were confronted by
Kirito and then chased by a monster Trembling Ox.

Synopsis:
Kazuto and Suguha
finish training and while resting they start talking about their childhood and
how much they like Salvia. Suddenly Kirito remembers something and takes Suguha
for a ride on his bike. After a few minutes they stop before a vacant lot and a
luxurious house. Suguha finds blue Salvia flowers and a young lady appears from
the house and after a little chat, the lady takes a plastic bag and gives them
some Salvia before they leave. While leaving, Kirito tells Suguha that he
planted those flowers to give them as a birthday present to her long ago but he
forgot where the lot was, so after many attempts he gave up and it was not
until now that he remembered where it was.

Synopsis:
After a hunting
day, Kirito returns to his house in Algade, but keeps feeling strange and
thinks that it's a new negative status. With a huge effort, he manages to reach
an inn room and decides to call Klein for help. After typing a desperate
message with a blurry vision he sends it and falls unconscious. Hours later, he
awakes and hears a voice different from Klein, it was Asuna who was taking care
of him and realizes that he sent the message to the wrong person. Asuna takes
care of him and tells him that his real body just caught a cold. The next day strangely
Asuna is now sick and Kirito is nowhere to be seen, she realizes that Kirito
must be training. Then, a portal appears and Kirito emerges from it with a
basin with ice, she realized that he made something almost impossible happen;
he went to the fifty eighth floor, climbed a mountain, defeated the local boss,
which was a dragon, took the ice and returned in less than two hours. For the
rest of the day Kirito takes care of her. Asuna then remarks that maybe she
could give the cold to him again, and then he could give it back since this
sort of situation is not so bad.

Synopsis:
At the
beginning of the story, Yui claimed that she did not understand human
"love". It is revealed that 10 days before, while in ALfheim Online
(ALO), she met a boy who confessed to her. Thinking that he wanted to
monopolise her, she told him that she would not be his, but the boy said that
it was not the reason why he confessed and that there was no need for an
answer, saying that his intention was just to finally talk to her before
resigning from the game. Confused, Yui asked Asuna what the boy had meant, and
she replied that Yui should ask him the next time they meet. As it turned out,
the boy had already deleted his account, so Yui accessed the account's
remaining personal information in the ALO servers and tracked him down to his
place of residence. Asuna went to the house and found out that the boy was
actually an elderly man who had recently died, and had taken up a hobby of
going into VRMMO games in his last years. Before the elderly man passed away,
he last told his adult daughter that he had actually met his deceased wife in
ALO.
Later Yui
assessed that the feeling of loss, is what it truly means "to love".

Synopsis:
After a failed
attempt by Klein and Kirito to defeat
a Field Boss on the 56th Floor, the GeoCrawler,
using food, Asunaand Kirito argue over the way on how to defeat it. Asuna
proposes using a massacre of NPCs in the village to defeat the boss
and Kirito disagrees with her, saying that the NPCs are human too. Asuna states
that she's on a level higher than Klein, but he tells her that Kirito is even
higher, so they end up dueling each other, with Kirito emerging as
the winner using an outside system skill as a feint to win. Asuna
mulls over her defeat outside at midnight where she talks to the small
NPC girl Ruru, and unknowingly triggers a flag that gives her a
clue on how to defeat the floor boss.
Later Asuna
realizes that even though they are in a VRMMO, she realizes that Kirito
thinks of SAO as reality as well. Asuna watches Kirito celebrating with Ruru
over the defeat of the floor boss, but gets an in-game harassment warning for
holding her into the air.

Cardinal continues
the story of Quinella after she found the system command list and
became the Administrator. After explaining how the Integrity Knights and
Cardinal herself came to be, Cardinal warns Kirito that the creatures
of the Dark Territory are on the verge of invading the Human Empire and
slaughtering all of its residents. Cardinal makes a deal with Kirito to help
her defeat Quinella and then teaches Kirito and Eugeo how to use the
«Armament Full Control» art. The two youngsters are then taken to the backdoor
closest to the Cathedral's equipment vault and they begin their quest to
recover their weapons and reach the top of the Cathedral.

Synopsis:
Kirito and
Eugeo are now second years at the Sword Mastery Academy and placed
fifth and sixth in the top twelve. One day they are requested by their valets
to help another valet who is being made to do embarrassing tasks. They break
the Taboo Index and, consequently, are arrested by Alice, who is now an Integrity
Knight, and sent to the Axiom Church prison. In prison, the two boys realize
that they can break out but are intercepted by the Integrity Knight Eldrie
Woolsburg.
